Who

The playaurane.com site and the Aurane game are published by ninabot Sàrl, Geneva, Switzerland. This page covers the Season 0 waitlist and, further down, the e-mail address you can give in the game (play.playaurane.com).

What the waitlist stores

Your e-mail address (required), a first name or nickname if you give one, the language you chose, the date you signed up, and the source of your visit (UTM parameters in the address and the site you came from, when present) so we know which channels bring players.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a human is sending it; to do so Cloudflare processes technical data (IP address, browser) under its own policy. We do not receive your IP address in clear.

Why

To write to you when your seat opens in Season 0, then when the game opens to everyone. Nothing else: no advertising, no resale, no matching with other files. Legal basis: your consent (the form's checkbox), under the Swiss FADP and the GDPR.

For how long

Until you unsubscribe, and at the latest one year after the end of Season 0. The data is hosted at Cloudflare (European Union and Switzerland depending on the processing region).

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, withdrawal of consent: every message from the list carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to the address shown in this site's footer or reply to any message received from the list. You may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or your country's authority.

Your e-mail address in the game

In the game's Account tab you can add a rescue e-mail address. It is optional: it receives a code to open your Colony on another device, and the address is only saved once that code is confirmed.

If you tick « Write to me when my Colony needs me », we send you a return e-mail when your Colony is attacked, its relays go dark, or after a long absence: at most one a day, never while the game is open. Unticked by default; every message has a one-click link to stop, and you can untick the box at any time. Legal basis: your consent.

You can also turn on alerts on a device (Account tab): your browser then gives us a technical delivery address, specific to that device and run by its maker's notification service (Google, Mozilla, Apple…), which we use only to warn you when your Colony is threatened and the game is closed, at most once every 30 minutes. You turn them off in the same place or in your browser's settings.

These messages are sent through the Resend delivery service (European Union region); the game is hosted by Exoscale in Geneva (Switzerland). The address stays until you remove it in the Account tab. No advertising, no resale.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookie. It remembers your language in your browser's local storage, and Cloudflare Turnstile may set a technical cookie for the duration of the check.
